Hello everyone,
we are currently choosing front doors... Which material would you recommend for front doors? Aluminum is said to cause condensation and to conduct cold very well in winter, with wood I have some concerns that it might eventually weather, and plastic... I’m not sure, it doesn’t seem very appealing... What front doors do you have? And are you satisfied?

What kind of glass is in the side panel? It reflects so much. The side panel only reflects due to the angle of the light; it is standard clear glass with triple glazing.S
Schutzengel687 Oct 2016 11:40Hello,
I would always recommend wooden doors. They not only look great but are also extremely durable. And when it comes to your own home, it’s worth investing a bit more, right?
Additionally, wooden doors come in many interesting variations. Have you ever heard of "split doors"? They are divided into two parts, allowing you to open the top half for a chat while keeping the lower half closed to safely contain small children, dogs, etc. My daughter in Oldenburg once chose a nice split door from frovin.
If I ever need a new front door again, this would definitely be something I’d consider *laughs* But without a doubt, always a wooden door!
Best regards,
Adele
