As part of wallpapering work, I want to temporarily close the existing hole for the flue pipe in the chimney (diameter of connection hole 17cm (7 inches)). The wood stove will be installed later. Either something that can be wallpapered over or alternatively a high-quality cover that remains visible. Ideally insulated. Has anyone done something similar here and can recommend a solution? The usual search engine returns results ranging from cheap, non-insulated options from DIY stores to products costing well over 50 euros.
