Hello,

I recently visited a show home and had the chance to take a closer look at a central controlled ventilation system by PLUGGIT. In this system, the ventilation grilles were installed in the floor. In this forum, many people often mention the issue that the ducts can eventually become contaminated, but this can be prevented as long as the filters are replaced regularly. However, what happens if, for example, water enters the ducts through the ventilation grilles because a vase tips over or children are playing (of course, other items could also end up in the ventilation grilles)?

Best regards

I don’t think this option is good. Something can always be spilled, and then you’ll just be cleaning up. I find the airflow from above comfortable.

Hello,

I don’t agree that the air from above is better. We came across Pluggit once at a building trade fair and thought it was quite good. It is a Swedish company and a leader in this field. This device is designed so that nothing can fall inside. In any case, make sure to clean the filters regularly.

Best regards

Well, I am not familiar with this particular ventilation system from Pluggit in detail. For a well-insulated property, it makes sense to install a central ventilation system. The investment costs are manageable.

I am familiar with these ventilation systems, which are available for both ceiling and floor installation. They are easy to install, and maintenance is also straightforward. The installers from this company provide good service as well.

Good company, good products, and good service. I also have some issues with the floor ventilation. Especially when there are small children in the house, spills tend to happen.
