Hello,
I am tired of carrying my vacuum cleaner through the house all the time. I have seen that you can also install a central vacuum system. Is it a very big effort, or is it possible to install it even if you already live in the house?

I completely understand, using a vacuum like that can really be hard on your back. However, installing a system like this afterward is definitely not easy; it should always be planned during the construction phase. This is because it requires considerable work due to the pipes inside the walls!

I also quickly got tired of carrying the vacuum cleaner up and down the stairs all the time. Since installing a central vacuum system was no longer an option for me, I bought a second vacuum cleaner. One stays upstairs and one downstairs, so I can vacuum everywhere, and that was cheaper than a central vacuum system!

You can install a vacuum system like that afterward, but it would be too much effort for me. Just imagine all the dust it creates. I would rather buy a vacuum cleaner for each floor, which is also much cheaper than such a complex system.

A vacuum system like that is definitely a great thing, but what do you do with the hose? I can’t really imagine how that works. Do you push it back into the wall after vacuuming, or do you have to store it somewhere else?

I can't imagine that this can be installed afterward. The vacuum system requires a pipe inside the wall to carry away the dirt. Otherwise, you would need enough empty conduits where the hoses can be placed.
