Hello,

Is there a way to control the ERR centrally on one device, so that, for example, the children cannot adjust the underfloor heating control (heating circuit)? Also, I don’t mind not having a thermostat with a controller in every room. What would be the alternative? Are there sensor-only devices that, for example, send the temperature wirelessly to the central unit, or does a separate fixed setting for the respective heating circuit also count as an ERR?

Good luck

Hello,

which heating system is installed? Gas? Heat pump?

Air-to-water heat pump: Vaillant flexcoCompact (underfloor heating + domestic hot water)

edit: as far as I can see (e.g., KaMo), a control manifold would additionally be needed for wireless control

What does your heating engineer say? Vaillant offers a lot of options right from the start.

Shut off the ERR and adjust the temperature using the heating curve.

@Mycraft I have an appointment with Vaillant on Thursday.

@T_im_Norden: I would like a more detailed explanation of this topic “ERR shutdown.” If the room thermostat is set to 25 degrees Celsius (77°F) but the heating itself is set to 21 degrees Celsius (70°F), then everything runs at 21 degrees Celsius (70°F). Have I understood that correctly?
