Hello everyone,
I have a question about my planned construction project (~250m² (2700 sq ft) of living space).
I would like to include a central residential ventilation system... how much space should I plan for this, or how much room will I lose?
Is 1.5 x 1.5 m (5 x 5 ft) enough?

It could certainly have been done more elegantly... but if it works and the client agrees, why not.

Everything has already been said regarding the initial question. Refrigerator size. Also utilize the ceiling space.

The ventilation unit usually has a footprint of about 80x60cm (31x24 inches) and requires roughly 1 meter (3.3 feet) in height when the ducts extend at 90°, and you can hang it up high. Piping and the distribution manifold under the ceiling will likely need around 25-30cm (10-12 inches) in height. So, with the planned ceiling height of 2.8 meters (9.2 feet), there should still be space to place a washing machine or similar underneath.
