what are your thoughts on the topic of having a basement or not?
Generally, most people advise against a basement because it’s expensive, dark (not necessarily), and often only used for a party room, sauna, or laundry room.
Has anyone had experience without a basement but with a large garage? Does that really work?
Where do you hang laundry? Where do you put a workbench, tools, bicycles, and so on?

There are actually users here who have serious questions and are looking for solutions. Many users are making an effort as well. Unfortunately, you are not one of them. Basically, I sometimes find it quite interesting when the topic goes off-topic and the moderators don’t stop it – but just exchanging hostility is honestly too silly for me. Especially, I think many people feel the same way I do, who weren’t even in the forum at the times being mentioned: I don’t understand the hints and references, and I’m not interested either.
When Vicky Pedia writes valuable posts here that help others in the forum, I appreciate and accept that just as much as when xy does. As I said, I don’t know the background. So far, I haven’t noticed her in either a positive or negative way (although I’ve been less active here recently due to my workload).
