ᐅ Ceiling: plastered or better with non-woven wallpaper?

Our painter recommended plastering the ceiling since the walls will also be plastered, and it looks better that way. What about the risk of cracking? Wouldn't a non-woven wallpaper (transparent, then painted white) be a better option? What do you think? Maybe he suggested plastering simply because it's quicker or easier for him?......

Search for: "V013_016_Merkblatt Putz. LO4" on Google; it provides a good overview of which services are associated with each plaster type according to the Q-classification. I’m not sure how warranty issues are handled for small cracks, whether they are considered acceptable or not. A statement like: "I will plaster it for you, but it will crack anyway," seems odd to me.

Our walls have a Q4 skim coat finish, and the ceiling (concrete filigree slab) is covered with fleece. I assert that there is no visible difference.
