Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to break through a hollow-core slab ceiling to install a staircase. The plan states that the ceiling is a Keiser Katzenberger slab, similar to the one in the picture. I have no experience with renovations, but I would assume that as long as the beams are removed and the width corresponds to the spacing between beams multiplied by x, it should be possible.
Thank you

What is actually the case? – In principle, your project shouldn’t be complicated, but on the other hand, it’s not something to be done “by two guys and a hammer.” Architects do not only design entire houses but are also recommended to be consulted for projects like this.

Feasible, yes. Possibly with beams, as with wooden joists. Nothing more can be said at this speculative stage without visual references.
