Hi,

what do you think about a ceiling heating system with a cooling function? Does anyone have any experience with this? Since selling my condominium leaves me no choice, I would still be interested in your opinions. So far, I only know about underfloor heating systems and can’t really imagine much about this, especially regarding operating costs.

Thanks!

Thank you. I’m just wondering what the justification is for ceiling heating. Why equip a new build with it despite these disadvantages?

That is a good question. Similarly, one can ask why a new building, for example, is equipped with solar thermal systems or why individual room controls are mandatory.

Neither of these offers real advantages in a new building.

However, if the primary purpose is cooling in the summer, for instance, chilled ceilings are a very good and cost-effective solution. It ultimately depends on the technical requirements and perspective.

Since it would be an attic apartment, I can easily imagine the need for cooling.
