Hey,
now that the carport is built, I’m thinking about the best way to install lighting there.
Do you have any tips or even pictures of how you have done it? Motion sensors in the carport and/or switched lighting. How many power outlets do you usually install? For LED light strips, what size/length would you recommend?
Thanks

Thanks My plan is as follows:
- Motion sensor lighting for the driveway
- Motion sensor lighting from the house towards the carport/path
- Switchable lighting inside the carport (you sometimes need to unpack the car, buckle/unbuckle kids, etc.)
- Somewhere on the carport, I want to install a lockable box connected to both 3-phase power and 220V (single phase). I want to use the 3-phase power mainly to operate a powerful wood chipper, and in the medium term to charge the electric car once the diesel car is retired. A regular outlet will be used for vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, etc. I don’t see much need for more than one outlet.
