Hello,
My girlfriend insists on installing carpet in our kitchen. I find that impractical because if something drops, it immediately leaves a stain.
How can I convince her to change her mind?
Do you have any advice?
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
I think your girlfriend wants to have warmth under her feet. That’s why there is a carpet in the kitchen. However, you can also use a PVC floor covering for this. Some of them have thermal insulation, so you won’t have cold feet anymore. Just go with her to a specialized store and get advice there.
Good luck

Kind regards

Karl-Steffen-127 Apr 2014 08:42No carpet flooring in the kitchen, definitely not. It gets dirty very quickly and then it looks bad. Better to use tiles, laminate, or even a PVC floor. These are all easy to clean, especially since grease splatters or other things often fall to the floor in the kitchen. In no time, the carpet becomes dirty.
