Hello,

1. Some slats are split at the headboard.

2. The attachment of the gutter in the designated position is without fastening.

3. The underlay membranes are not glued.

4. Battens and ventilation grilles are missing at the edges.

5. No nail sealing tape was installed beneath the counter-battens.

Thank you

Regarding point 5: This depends on the manufacturer’s specifications for your roof tiles... depending on the stress and roof pitch, a nail-sealing strip may or may not be required.

If one is required according to these specifications but is missing, that would be considered a defect. However, since no one will strip the roof again just because of this, I would suggest negotiating a price reduction.

Sloppy work. Was it the most expensive or the cheapest?

He’s definitely not all there upstairs 🙂

My experience with carpenters: the worst of all tradespeople! My theory: they all get too much sun.

It looks very sloppy, but as a layperson, I can't say whether it has any impact.
