ᐅ Carpenter does not install the door. Plumbing company does not fit the sanitary ware?

Here I am again with a new problem.
We want to install a Frisian door and have found a carpenter to build it since our general contractor’s carpenter does not offer this door in their range. The carpenter (general contractor) has now informed us that he will not install this door because we did not purchase it from him. The carpenter building the Frisian door ships his doors all over Germany, and no one else has had any issues.
The same applies to the plumbing company. They do not even want to install the pipes if we do not buy the sanitary fixtures from them. I see this as coercion. The price difference for the sanitary fixtures is about 4,000€ (approximately $4,200).
Is there a legal basis for this? Installation or refusal; warranty service.

However, the contract does not state that the structural engineer will refuse to install materials that I did not purchase from them.

Hello Bauexperte,
I can somewhat understand the calculation. But for example, if I buy a urinal from BU for €343.82, they only credit me €130.00 when I return it.

Then I can easily imagine what kind of BU contract you signed...

Usually, most providers keep about 15-20% in case of a credit, to cover necessary paperwork and lost profit. There are also a few that credit the full amount 100%... but those companies tend to operate in a different price range than the one you probably signed with, in my opinion.

Best regards, Bauexperte

Does it say the opposite anywhere?

Good evening,
there are still miracles in house building, even though sometimes you wonder more than you believe in miracles.
Our carpenter is working together with the joiner who is making the Frisian door for us, and we have also reached an agreement with the plumbing company. So, dear home builders, don’t give up!
Best of luck!
