Hi,

I basically just need a small cabinet with a sink for my kitchen. I have the fridge, oven, and dishwasher as freestanding appliances.

So, do I need something like a FYNDIG base cabinet with doors?

Then a sink and mixer tap, etc., but what about the countertop?

Do I have to cut the hole for the sink myself? :O I don’t think I can manage that xD

Thanks & regards

Yes, you have to do it yourself. With the right tools, you will definitely be able to manage it.

Hello Hachel,

to cut the board to length, you will need a circular saw with a good quality blade. Ideally, use the saw with a guide rail, but it can also be done with a clamped guide strip. For the sink hole, use a drill for the holes in the corners and an electric jigsaw.

Maybe ask around among your friends if there are any "wood enthusiasts" who have this kind of equipment and could do the sawing work for you. The time required is quite high, estimated at around half an hour.

Perhaps there are also forum members who could do this for you if you mention where you live.

Best regards,
Wolfgang
