ᐅ Calculation of roof tiles / Braas Tegalit

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am currently working on building my garage.
I could use some help with the following:
How many roofing tiles of the Braas model Tegalit are needed for a hipped roof on a 7 x 7 m (23 x 23 ft) garage?
The roof pitch is not yet known, but I assume about 22 degrees.
I calculate roughly 55 square meters (592 square feet) of required surface area, and therefore about 550 tiles.

Just ask Braas directly; I don’t think roofers typically calculate how many tiles they need themselves. Or check the manufacturer’s website for the per square meter information. But keep in mind that special tiles (ridge tiles, etc.) are also included there.
