Hello everyone,
I want to run a cable (20mm diameter) from the attic to the outside.
Our house has a 50cm (20 inches) roof overhang, which is clad with profiled wood.
It’s easy enough to drill a hole through the profiled wood and push the cable through.
But what should I use to seal it properly?
At first, I thought of a polyamide cable gland. However, the thread is usually too short or the profiled boards are too thick, so I wouldn’t be able to screw on the nut.
Are there special cable entry sleeves or glands for this, or how can this be done reasonably well?
Thanks and best regards,
Andreas
