Hello everyone.
My setup:
- Outdoor station audio installed 70m (230 feet) away from the house
- Indoor station audio installed inside the house
- System control unit installed inside the house
- A standard doorbell push button installed on the house itself
My problem:
- Outdoor station is assigned and recognized
- Doorbell push button cannot be assigned and is not recognized
I tried assigning it through the indoor station, but without success.
Does this system even support a simple doorbell push button, or is it always necessary to install an outdoor station?
Now I’m imagining a multi-story house:
Downstairs, at the main entrance, there’s an outdoor station with intercom (which I have), then upstairs in the apartment (for example, on the 3rd floor) there is only a doorbell button on the door… or am I wrong?
That button should somehow be recognized as well! I shouldn’t need an intercom at my apartment or front door anymore!
Who can help?
Thanks in advance and have a nice evening.
