Hello, last year I applied for a KFW grant for burglary protection in our house. At that time, the funds for 2016 were already exhausted, so a provisional approval was given. Therefore, I waited in 2017 for a follow-up message from KfW, which I never received. The work was already completed by the end of 2016 after receiving the provisional approval. Unfortunately, the contractor only issued the invoice almost a year later. I submitted the invoice immediately after receiving it. Unfortunately, KfW is now refusing to pay out the grant, citing the six-month deadline for proof of the work. Has anyone experienced a similar situation or does anyone have advice on how I should proceed? I would be grateful for any tips. Thank you and best regards.
