Why was the design created as it is now? The design is almost exactly what we planned. Only the room sizes and layout were adjusted.
What is the most important / basic question about the floor plan summarized in 130 characters?
I would simply like to know if at first or second glance the layout could be more functional. Thank you very much.

The plot is not subject to any zoning plan, so there is quite a bit of freedom in design. That doesn’t mean much. Even the building regulations for a type 34 area impose restrictions; local ordinances can specify setback lines and similar requirements. @chrisw81: how was it for you again? – wasn’t there some kind of rule affecting the positioning of the parking spaces...?

Here are a few suggestions and ideas for simply Life.
One design is 17 meters (56 feet) long and 8 meters (26 feet) wide, intended for a north-south orientation. The plot seems to suit that as well. Since you mentioned that the street is quite quiet anyway... I didn’t measure anything else. These are sketches. Fairly open, with one “privacy corner” each... Here you go.
PS. On the east side, you need to keep 3 meters (10 feet) clear from the neighboring property; for streets, I am familiar with a clearance of 5 meters (16 feet).
I hope the crossed-out walls help to show where the layout is heading.

Here are a few suggestions... which remind me a lot of the old days. In the 1980s, I was a fan of this style of floor plans, which was only offered by Hosby on the German market.https://www.instagram.com/11antgmxde/

j.bautsch2 Apr 2019 07:49I actually quite like the third "suggestion." The child can go to the toilet quietly at night, and the parents are separated from the child. The utility room is not next to the child's bedroom but still close to the kitchen (in case some supplies need to be stored there).
