My wife doesn’t want an open kitchen. That’s a pity, I think it takes away some openness from the floor plan. I don’t think the door will ever actually be closed, but the table has to be positioned and spaced in a way that allows the door to close while still leaving enough room. At the same time, this setup limits more creative kitchen designs. We also had a closable kitchen at the time, but it was hardly ever used that way. We also had a closable setup back then, but it was hardly ever used, and eventually, I removed the expensive sliding doors and built a counter solution instead. Currently, our kitchen area in the apartment is open, with a counter.
I really like the counter but not the open kitchen. Any noise disturbs the living room. When you want to listen to music or watch TV, the loud background noises are very annoying.
Therefore, we also want to plan a sliding door. A good implementation is difficult, and it really reduces the "nice spacious feel" of the room.

That’s why we want to install a sliding door as well. It’s hard to implement well, and it really takes away the "nice spacious feeling." Maybe you should consider using silicone cookware to reduce noise or give a course on silent cooking as a Christmas gift; that’s usually well received –
Of course, the openness causes this because it’s open. For me, that wouldn’t be worth it since it doesn’t happen often enough after such a course to justify losing the look and spacious feeling.
I personally use noise-canceling headphones anyway...–

I agree with you regarding the sense of space. I will discuss it again with the project manager.
We have decided on a ceiling height of 3 meters (10 feet) for the bungalow. After accounting for the underfloor heating, the clear height will be approximately 2.80 meters (9 feet 2 inches). We are still considering the design of the entrance area. We are thinking about this option. For that, the right side will likely need to be raised, which will make the covered terrace larger.

For the bungalow, we decided on a ceiling height of 3m (10 feet), minus the underfloor heating, resulting in about 2.80m (9 feet 2 inches). We are still considering the design of the entrance area. We are thinking of doing it differently, which would probably require raising the right side. This would make the covered terrace larger. Maybe you can argue — and actually think — that in the worst case, you could add a room divider later if it really turns out to be necessary (which, in my opinion, it never will). Otherwise, from my own experience, bruises around the eyes fade after a few weeks, and nowadays broken teeth can be replaced with stylish implants.
To me, a bungalow represents openness, which would be lost with such changes; also the options for kitchen design.
A ceiling height of 2.80m (9 feet 2 inches) is really comfortable!
The entrance area looks good; I would generally aim for a design that feels light and airy.
