Good morning everyone!
We are currently preparing for the handover of our house and are therefore checking for all major and minor defects that we want to address or refuse to accept.
One issue is causing us a lot of concern: the windows. As you can see, the groove at the bottom section of the frame (inside) is bowed upwards on almost all the windows.
I have never seen anything like this before and cannot really assess it at the moment. Does anyone have experience with this and can shed some light on it?
Thank you for your help!
Good luck

Hafenstraße14 Aug 2024 12:16We had an expert on-site during the construction phase. They reviewed the building plans and technical execution drawings (roof and wall structure, energy concept) and said they didn’t need to be present for the final inspection. The home manufacturer is known for good quality, and everything is assembled at the factory. “Minor” defects (such as the current issues with the windows) typically become apparent within the first few months and are covered by the warranty. Similar opinions came from engineers I work with daily, so we decided to carry out the final inspection ourselves.
