Hello everyone,
I recently completed the construction of my dream home.
Now, on a sunny day, I have noticed that the exterior facade shows outlines of the columns (especially between the ground floor and first floor).
At night, the lighting also highlights this.
Is this still considered normal, or is it a defect?
The construction was finished in March 2020, and back then it was not visible.
Thank you very much in advance.

I don’t think this is normal and would address / raise a complaint about it.

Not nice, but probably within tolerance. Place a 1m (3 ft) straightedge and check if there is any dent deeper than 1cm (0.4 inches).

Thank you first of all for the responses.
It is indeed very unfortunate; I will measure it myself. It is truly a pity since the house was a dream project.
So, the tolerance is 1cm (0.4 inches)?
Further replies are welcome.

If I remember correctly, that was specified in the DIN standard for wall cladding. But it could also be from the VOB.

Unfortunately, this is hardly repairable. Trying to fix it would likely make it worse.

Really hard to see clearly in the picture. You can’t make a reliable assessment like this. Is this an external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) / external wall insulation (EWI)?
