I am planning to build in the Höxter area. I really liked a prefabricated house from Ästhetikhaus. Unfortunately, I cannot find any customer reviews about this company online. Since there are frequent reports in the media about negative experiences with construction companies, I would like to gather some information in advance.

Since they only offer a few models, I thought they were prefabricated houses. If they are solid construction houses, even better. According to their website, they mainly offer houses in the Westphalia region. I am especially interested in the Kristall model. A corresponding house is available in Bad Driburg. However, due to the large plot of land in Bad Driburg, it is beyond my financial means.
Before I make a decision, I would like to get some information about the company first.

While the company as a builder makes a generally positive impression on me, the offer that probably caught your attention would not appeal to me. I’ll quote from the brochure:

[...] The plot offered here is marketed separately by one of our many land partners. The plot price is included in the stated purchase price.
In my view, this offer is only meant to make you aware of the possibility to build this house on an example plot; the example plot is specific but not owned by the building company. Try searching the forum for “Leerverkauf” to find several threads where I explain this business model. Also, look up “Bauträger” regarding the tax treatment of such bundled offers. Share some information about your personal ideal house, so you can get more targeted advice here. What plot size would fit your budget?
