Hello,

is it necessary to additionally seal the floor slab with bitumen membranes afterwards, even if it is made of waterproof concrete, to keep all moisture out?

Hello,

very short answer: Yes!

WU stands for waterproof, but this does not mean that no water or moisture can penetrate. In fact, it is allowed for water to penetrate up to 50 mm (2 inches). In addition, this concrete is not vapor-tight.
