Hello everyone,
what do you think about starting the construction of a house in early to mid-November, brick by brick?
Are there any risks involved, especially if winter sets in by early to mid-December?
Could there be issues with masonry work, and is it possible to simply pause the structural shell at that point?
I would appreciate your professional opinion on this.
Best regards

It’s more out of curiosity – we have the items mentioned as well, but no penetrations in the concrete slab.

Were you watching?Unfortunately not ; the concrete mixer arrived just as I had to get back to the office. The workers are impressively fast; the exterior formwork for the basement walls is already in place. Now the ventilation must be installed quickly before the structure is built….Sebastian79 schrieb:

I’m also just curious – we have the same things listed, but no penetrations through the foundation slab. Sorry, I don’t know about that; but perhaps a professional will chime in.

Besides, that looks like a plastic drain pipe, which would be very bad. But I could be wrong...

Also, that looks like PVC waste pipe (HT pipe), which would be a bad choice. But I could be wrong... Try doing a Google image search for reinforcement of a ground slab. You’ll see many examples that look the same, but also some that are different.
