ᐅ Building Your Own Home – Which Tasks Should You Handle Yourself?

Building your own house is truly great, especially because you can be proud of it afterward and even show off a bit to your friends 😀. However, you shouldn’t overestimate your own abilities, as the way houses are built nowadays (electronics, insulation, etc.) has changed significantly. I believe that sooner or later, you will definitely need to hire a professional.

So far, I haven’t built a house myself, but I have helped a lot with renovations, and for my own house construction, I will definitely do all the interior work myself. This includes installing electrical wiring (connection will be done by a friend, an electrician), laying floors, plastering walls or installing drywall. Basically, I plan to do everything except the shell construction and the external rendering myself.
