I’m new here and have already looked around a bit, but didn’t find anything related to my question...
So: I have a Kivik 2-seat sofa with chaise lounge combination. Currently, the chaise lounge is on the right side (when sitting on the sofa). We are moving, and in the new living room, the chaise lounge needs to be switched to the other side. Since I threw away the assembly instructions, I can’t check how complicated the conversion is or how it’s done!
Has anyone here ever done this kind of change? Was it very complicated? How long did it take? And is there anything I should keep in mind?
I assume I need to tilt the sofa onto the backrest, unscrew both armrests, unhook the chaise lounge, unscrew the frame that attaches it, then reattach it on the other side... then hook the chaise lounge back on, reattach the armrests, and that’s it!?
Or do I possibly need to remove one of the covers or anything else unexpected?
I would really appreciate tips and experience reports!
Thank you very much and best regards!
