Hello, I would like to build a very affordable wooden house myself without too many extras. Can someone with experience share some information? It should be around 70 sqm (750 sq ft). My main goal is to build cost-effectively, so just to set up the basic structure. What type of wood should I use, where is the best place to get it, and how would your own planning look like? I imagine something like in my pictures.

Hello

If the design requirements are not particularly individual, you will usually be well served by the kit homes from, for example, Merlin / Fjorborg or others. Drawings, structural engineering, thermal insulation, etc. are included with their kits.

With some craftsmanship skills, self-building is no problem. The available free time then determines the construction period.

I want to buy a wooden house but I'm not sure, as none of my acquaintances have had such experience before. After some research, I came across xxx.Natur-Haus.it. Has anyone had any experience with it? Thanks
