Good evening everyone. We’re not quite sure what to do. We own a small house and would like to have a prefabricated garage built or build one ourselves at the end of our garden. I have already received a few quotes, which seem reasonable so far. However, since the access path to the garden is quite narrow and the truck would have to navigate a turn, no representative can fully guarantee that installation will be possible.
Do you know of any prefabricated garage suppliers who are experienced with such issues, for example using a mobile crane, and who provide professional advice you can fully rely on? Or could I build a garage myself? Ideally without a complicated building permit / planning permission process—like a ready-made garage plan with structural calculations that can be submitted for approval and then built independently? I believe some prefabricated garages come with simplified approval procedures as well?
