Hi!
I am planning to build a garage. Now I’m wondering if it’s worth getting a prefabricated garage. I’ve heard that these have many advantages compared to traditional garages. For example, they are supposed to be much more affordable! Do you have any experience with this, and what should I consider before installation?
Best regards,

Prefabricated Garage as a Second Living Room
Hi sennor,
Yes, you can definitely attach a prefabricated garage to your house! It’s no problem at all. Furthermore, a prefabricated garage can even be set up as a second living room. You can include windows, additional doors, electrical wiring, and even heating. Prefabricated garages are often installed to create a hobby room. There are no limits to the variety of ideas!

We recently discovered a problem with our prefabricated garage (2008). There are many hairline cracks on the side walls through which water is running onto the floor. It’s causing actual puddles. We used to have a carport before, which we could have kept!!!What does this have to do with the original question? The same can happen with a garage built on-site. It somehow sounds like a faulty foundation issue....
