I have a Buderus Logamax GB132.
For some time now, the error 3C 217 has been showing up. It can be reset, and the heating works again for about 2 weeks.
The problem is that, in my opinion, when this error occurs, the fan continues to run at full speed even though the heating is turned off and becomes cold.
Only after rebooting does everything return to normal. My concern is what happens if no one is home for an extended period.
It seems the fan does not turn off automatically during the error but keeps running at full speed. What could happen then?
By the way, the fan was recently replaced.
According to my research online, the issue could also be related to the UBA combustion control unit.
Are there possibly other causes?
My heating company no longer seems to know how to proceed with this issue.
The Buderus customer service also no longer accepts service requests from private customers.
Perhaps someone has experience with this and could help me?
