We are planning to connect our bathroom with our walk-in closet. We are considering not installing a door in the opening because both rooms are quite small. What are your experiences with moisture when no door is installed? Both rooms have skylights. I would appreciate your feedback.

It works perfectly fine for us, even with my beloved long hot showers and the door open. With the sliding door closed, the steam entering the adjacent room is minimal.
