I have a new Metod kitchen and want to install the above-mentioned Bosch dishwasher, which is 45cm (18 inches) wide. Unfortunately, there are some issues with the front panel (stainless steel version). It hits the dishwasher at the bottom when mounted according to Bosch’s instructions because it seems too long at 80cm (31.5 inches). Bosch’s documents also state that only a front panel up to 72.5cm (28.5 inches) long fits. Unfortunately, this detail is often overlooked when buying a new kitchen.
Now my question: What options do I have to attach my front panel? The dishwasher has adjustable feet, which I have screwed all the way down to attach the front panel so that it overhangs at the top. However, the panel still hits at the bottom. Can I solve my problem with the sliding hinge from Ikea Behjälplig?

I have exactly the same problem! I found this thread through Google and wanted to ask how you have solved the issue since then, Superfly1840? Did you manage it with BEHJÄLPLIG? And if so, what is the total depth of the construction (dishwasher with BEHJÄLPLIG front)? I would be very grateful for your help!
