I am looking for the original serial number of the Bosch dishwasher that is sold under the name Diskad at IKEA.
I cannot find it using the number SBE6494Z0E/01 that I found online.

You are right; people usually use only a few programs or the same ones repeatedly.
For me, it is important that a dishwasher is quiet, especially that it does not emit high-frequency noises.
Since my brain tumor, I can no longer tolerate these sounds.
They cause a sharp pain through my head, as if a knife were piercing through it.
It is difficult to find out about this in advance. I found two reports where consumers specifically criticized these high tones in the hygiene program (Electrolux). They even replaced the dishwasher after a short time because of the noise.
Such a device would probably drive me crazy. Unfortunately, you can’t test dishwashers in stores before buying them.
I had the same problem with vacuum cleaners.
Being quiet alone is not enough; the devices must not exceed a certain frequency.
For those who are not affected, this problem is hard to understand.

In that case, probably the only solution is to purchase from a retailer offering a suitable return policy. Years ago, we bought devices from AO (and kept them) without any issues.
I would gladly offer you a trial listening session at our place – but we decided against having a dishwasher in the new house. Many beautiful items don’t hold up well in a dishwasher, and with two people, washing up is done quickly. When the boys are here, they just have to help with the washing up. When we have guests, my wife and I happily share our experiences while washing up.
