Hello,

I am looking for a solution to the following "niche problem":

We have renovated our basement due to rising damp using a horizontal barrier and Remmers waterproofing (Sulfatex/DS Levell / 2x MB2K+). The (gypsum-free) plaster now ends about 10 cm (4 inches) above the floor slab, as a new floor still needs to be installed.

Some walls are externally insulated, while others are unfortunately not (because they are built against another structure). For the latter, I would like to apply a light interior insulation with capillarity (CaSi 30 mm (1¼ inches)) once the floor is in place. As thermal decoupling for the floor, I am considering Multipor compact at the base area below the CaSi.

To lay the insulation boards evenly, the gap under the plaster now needs to be filled. DS Levell seems suitable for this (but I am open to better suggestions). However, how can I apply it to the (very uneven and already dried) waterproofing? Unfortunately, the "wet-on-wet" method is no longer possible...

What would be suitable for creating a bonding layer in this area on MB2K+?

I would appreciate tips based on your practical experience.

Thank you and happy holidays to everyone!
