Hausbau2016LE31 Jul 2015 07:19Hello everyone,
for a semi-detached house of approximately 170 m² (1,830 sq ft), which we plan to build next year, I came across bluMartin while searching for suitable systems/manufacturers for a ventilation system.
- Could you share your experiences with bluMartin? What works well, where are there problems, would you install the system again, do you have any tips on what to watch out for, etc.? I appreciate any hints or information! Especially interested in multi-year experience with the system.
- Does connecting multiple rooms to one system work well?
- On the internet, it says you can "supply up to four rooms with a maximum area of 75 m² (810 sq ft), each with separate supply and exhaust vents." On the bluMartin website, it only mentions "multiple rooms"?
- Does the system actually help keep rooms cooler in summer?
- What did the system cost you including installation for your configuration (e.g., number of units/house size)?
- Who installs and connects the system? I didn’t quite understand from the website who does the actual installation (does bluMartin only supply the equipment and the ventilation fans are installed into the walls by the shell builder while the electrician or installer handles the wiring?)
Thank you very much for any information and experience reports.
Martin

We have a Lunos system, but we have only been in the house for just under four weeks.
EveundGerd – could you share some information about your Lunos system? Do you have exhaust fans in the bathroom, toilet, and utility room, and external wall air vents in all living spaces? Is it with or without heat recovery? Can you hear the air vents, for example, in the bedrooms?
We are currently planning to install Lunos as well, but I’m still gathering information. In another post here in the forum, I read that someone visited a ventilation company in Berlin to see the systems in operation. That was a helpful tip.
I would appreciate any feedback. Of course, experiences from others with Lunos are also very welcome.

Hello everyone,
My husband and I are currently considering ventilation systems for our home.
House details:
Two-story building plus converted attic (about 180 m² (1,940 sq ft) of living space), underfloor heating, air-to-water heat pump.
We definitely want a decentralized system.
It is important to us that the fans are not too noticeable in terms of noise.
Could anyone provide information about the noise levels and costs comparing the Lunos (now the nexxt) and the bluMartin (now the freeair plus)?
We would greatly appreciate any information and personal experiences.
Best regards,
Sabine
