during our research on house construction, we came across the concept of the bio-solar house. Has anyone had experience with this, perhaps even built one themselves, and what do experts say about such a low-tech house? Can this actually work?
Thank you

Good evening,
There is very little information about the house-within-a-house concept here in the forum.
We visited Sonnenpark between the holidays and took a closer look at the concept.
We have been planning and gathering information for our upcoming new build for a year now, and the first draft from an architect is already available.
Last year’s research led us to a link about BSH, but back then, the curved roof houses were always the main focus of what we found online, which didn’t work for us.
After watching a YouTube video from a planning office licensed to design and build these houses, which was visually convincing and explained the functionality very well, the topic became relevant again.
So, I’m asking again here because you can’t find any negative feedback online despite more than 500 houses built.
We have contacted residents, and so far the feedback has been positive.
The house-within-a-house is basically just insulation of the timber frame (wood fiber), then instead of the usual facade, there is an additional air layer (counter battens) followed by another layer of wood fiber with the facade applied to that.
I would appreciate any feedback.
Best regards,
Stefan
