hm... somehow my previous post suddenly disappeared.

Can someone tell me if the 140cm (55 inches) wide bedding from Ikea can be used with standard inserts of 135cm (53 inches)? Or will there be a "dead" flap? That would really bother me....

You can definitely combine that... However, there will be a gap, and if that bothers you, it’s better not to do it.
