Hello everyone,

Do you have frosted glass windows in your bathroom, such as satin finish, Masterpoint, or something similar? Or do you just have clear glass?

One more question, so I don’t have to open a new topic: Do you happen to have a picture showing how the connection between kitchen cabinet fronts and the wall is done in your kitchen? The option suggested by the kitchen studio (next to the dishwasher there should be a side panel with a plinth and next to it a filler piece aligned with the height of the side panel) doesn’t really appeal to me – I’m curious if this is the standard approach or if there are nicer solutions.

Thank you in advance!

Best regards, hemali

We will use clear glass in both bathrooms and create privacy with pleated blinds. In our residential area, there are also frosted and patterned glass options. However, you can still see too much of the 80-year-old neighbor, etc. Beyond that, I find different types of glazing unattractive, as it disrupts the symmetry.

And you want to constantly move the pleated blinds? That’s not really realistic.

We will have clear glass. However, we have a quite high parapet height, so no one will be visible naked.

To be honest, I don’t quite understand the question. You move them when cleaning the windows, and I think that’s fairly realistic.

Matter of personal preference – curtains wouldn’t suit my taste in damp rooms. As I mentioned, I chose film and would do the same in residential property. I took a liberty here that would be more complicated to achieve with satin finishes: namely, not extending the film all the way to the edge of the glass. Leaving several centimeters (around an inch) of space is enough for me to not feel completely cut off from the outside view, while at the same time, nothing is visible from across the street.

I believe the question was whether you open and close the pleated blind every time you use the toilet or take a shower. I personally think that doesn’t make much sense. I’m probably too lazy for that; mine would stay closed all the time.

We have now pretty much decided on Masterpoint glass.
My husband isn’t keen on dealing with film. Although I find the idea of leaving a few centimeters (around 20/30 cm (8/12 inches)) open at the top and bottom with the film quite ideal. But applying the film perfectly cleanly is certainly difficult, so we have decided against it.

Thank you all!!!
