How did you handle the glass in the bathroom windows on the ground floor? Frosted glass or clear glass with a curtain/blind?

The ground floor bathroom is located directly on the path to the front door, meaning every visitor passes by it on their way to the entrance.

Therefore, we considered using fully frosted glass, but maybe that would make it too dark?!?

Another question: satin glass has a treated surface on one side of the window glass, making it rough. That means it’s not as easy to clean as a regular smooth window, right? So, would frosted glass be better (since both sides are smooth)?

In our case, both outer sides are smooth.

Maybe with triple-glazed windows, the inner pane is frosted, so the outer pane is clear and therefore smooth?

Quite possible. We have triple glazing.

That’s how it was explained to us. However, we decided against it because we couldn’t fully assess the appearance from the outside and wanted to remain flexible.

On the ground floor next to the front door, we have a small bathroom with a shower, or is the window fully frosted glass? On the upper floor, the floor-to-ceiling window is divided into two sections: the lower part is fixed frosted glass, and the upper part is a casement window with a pleated blind.

We have Satinato frosted glass in the bathroom, guest bathroom, and pantry, and we are very satisfied with it. The additional cost for the four windows in total was €460.

In the picture, you can see the four windows on the north side of the house. They are the four vertically aligned windows.
