We have been giving more thought to our (master) bathroom and have come up with two possible layouts (see images).
What do you generally think of these two options? What do you like or dislike? Do you have any additional ideas on how to better utilize the available space for greater comfort?
The window faces east. We are a bit concerned about the 2m (6 ft 7 in) height line, especially in the shower area. The knee wall has a clear height from the finished floor level of about 1.5m (5 ft) with a roof pitch of 38 degrees. The 2m (6 ft 7 in) height would be reached after approximately 56.5 cm (22 in).
What are your thoughts on these two designs – thank you in advance.

There is an option to increase the bathroom width from approximately 3.60 m (about 3.90 m in the lower section) by 12.5 cm (5 inches) through extending the house. We will probably go ahead with this, as it also has advantages on the ground floor.
