Hello everyone,

we are currently finalizing the bathroom design. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we were unable to visit a bathroom showroom for consultation. Since the working drawings need to be completed this week, we only have today and tomorrow to decide on one of the three options. The bathroom is connected to the central ventilation system (near the shower). Which of the three would you choose and, most importantly, why? We also welcome any suggestions for improvements.

PS: In option 3, the area labeled "a" near the bathtub is not a false wall but a shelf surface.

Hello,
I would choose option 1.

I find option 3 the most appealing.

I wouldn’t find having the toilet next to the bathtub very appealing...

I would place the toilet in the “rear” room, preferably against an exterior wall. My ideal layout would be: bathroom door opens, then immediately the shower and washbasin within easy reach.

I would shift the washbasin slightly to the left center. The shower should be just to the right of the door. The bathtub positioned centrally on the right side. The toilet with a partition wall (about 90 cm (35 inches) high or full height), like in option 1. A heated towel rail behind the door. Where the shower is currently located, I would place a cabinet for towels, cleaning supplies, etc.

If I had to choose, I would go with V2.

Or maybe something like this (light-colored walls only halfway up)?:

Floor plan of a bathroom: bathtub/shower on the right, two washbasins on the left, door at the bottom left.
