Hello everyone,

our planning is slowly approaching the final stage, and doubts are coming up about whether the shower, as currently planned, is large enough, or if we might end up flooding the entire bathroom while showering.
Please take a look at the floor plan and let me know if the shower side wall is sufficient for "average users."

Thank you very much!

...yes, that will definitely be sufficient! A few splashes will, of course, be visible on the left as well.

I would build the side wall and install a window there. That way, you can place the shower tray, and the shower area will appear significantly larger.

Of course, as always, the water supply, slope, and drain must be properly aligned. )

Good luck

I would recommend making the upper part of the wall between the shower and the toilet out of glass; otherwise, the shower area will become quite dark...

Will the shower back wall be only 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) thick?

Best regards,

@Badjunge: Do you really think that's enough? Don't you think we'll end up flooding the bathroom?

@lastdrop: The wall won't go all the way up; it will stop at about 2 meters (6.5 feet) high...

@Curly: Yes, it will...

I find the bathroom quite narrow and dark and would avoid the T-shaped layout.
