ᐅ Bathroom Planning – Any Ideas?

I am currently designing the bathroom but can’t seem to find the ideal solution. Initially, I was thinking of a T-shaped layout, but couldn’t get it to work properly, and I also felt the lighting might not be right. So now I came up with a new proposal. I planned the front wall to be 1.10 m (3 ft 7 in). I was considering a privacy screen, but I’m not sure if it will really work as I imagine it 😉

What’s important for us is a shower measuring 80 x 120 cm (31 x 47 in), a double sink, and an electric towel heater. The bathtub can be for one person. Maybe it would be nice if it’s tiled on the outside.

We want tiles in anthracite gray and white (possibly with a slight beige tint).

Do you have any ideas on how to arrange the different sanitary fixtures and so on?
The bathroom is 5 m x 2.82 m (16 ft 5 in x 9 ft 3 in). Please don’t be surprised about the square meters. The image comes from my planning and Sweat Home 3D didn’t quite match the dimensions on the upper floor.

Okay, I’ll add it to the plan so I can visualize it.

So, I have now started planning. Yes, I like this much better already. Thanks for that.

I didn’t include the walk-in shower as shown. There are several reasons for that. On one hand, I like the light you get when it’s fully enclosed in glass, and it doesn’t create drafts. Also, the floor has no grout lines due to the shower tray. When you have hair down to your waist and lose some quite often, you don’t want to have to pick it out of every grout line. It’s better collected in the drain trap *yuck* 😀

I now need to look into the sizes of bathtubs. However, I think a standard size should be enough. The question is whether it will be surrounded by walls or a frame. I actually like that a lot. It depends on the cost, though. We also need to research radiators. We actually don’t want to connect it to the underfloor heating or water circuit. So, it would have to be electric. I have some concerns about electricity consumption. Maybe another method is necessary???

Looks good 🙂
However, I would still recommend designing the shower a bit larger!

Space-saving alternative suggestion, I have accurately included your existing sanitary fixtures to scale. What you choose to do with the extra space is up to your imagination (sauna, infrared cabin, cabinets, etc.).
