Hello,
Since I am about to start building my house and am already thinking about the bathroom but have no clear idea yet, I’m opening this thread.
Please feel free to share how you have built your bathrooms and what they look like. Maybe I can pick up some ideas!

Made with great attention to detail, respect!! (Even though it’s totally not my style, too much “flashy” for me )...Thank you, thank you. And we even drove halfway across the country to find a batch with lots of sparkle . But we’re also a bit older now, so our taste is probably a little different.

Very stylish. Cohesive overall but not my personal taste. Still very well done! That’s exactly the point, no matter what kind of tiles you like, etc. Everything should look harmonious. You need to keep that in mind when planning the bathroom: if a faucet looks great, it also has to match the sink, and so on.
I’ll try to find some pictures of our bathroom renovation from the old apartment, if that’s of interest . Built in 1972, it wasn’t so nice anymore, but I guess everything is coming back again.
Good luck

Regarding the wallpaper in the guest toilet: I think it can work.

Since the guest toilet is very long, we decided to angle the wall at the entrance. This creates a much better sense of space in the hallway in front of it, and I think it adds a bit more flair.

If you look closely at the above picture, I had the fuse box installed there. This way, unlike most people, I don’t have to hang a picture in the hallway to cover it up.
Below it is the control unit for the underfloor heating. It’s easily accessible, and the annoying box is not in the hallway or even the main bathroom!
Now about the illuminated niche;
I think it’s a shame when expensive bathroom fittings are installed, but the shut-off valves—and often the water meters—are left visible on the wall.
That’s why these items have found a place here that is still easy to reach (magnetic mirror, easily removable)

Maybe a small idea to consider when planning your bathroom.
Good luck

Hello,
Your faucet seems to spray the water like fresh spring water... if that’s the case, do you have issues with splashing? Would you avoid something like that in the main bathroom?
Best regards,
Merlin
