We have “moved into” our new home just a few days ago, and among the remaining tasks here, bathroom accessories are definitely on the list.
Over the weekend, I quickly visited the bathroom departments of some major home improvement chains to get inspired by the designs of toilet brush holders, toilet paper holders, and towel rails.
I was a bit taken aback by the prices 🙁 (until now, I had only browsed the paint, electronics, and wall plug sections).

Our faucet design is angular and shiny chrome-plated. My husband prefers the brushed stainless steel look… I like it too, but… hmm...
Over 60 € (about 65 USD) is somewhat acceptable, but with accessory prices like these, I don’t mind checking out reuter and similar online stores, though the overwhelming variety can be a bit much. Also, I’m getting stingy 😉

Do you have any online recommendations for me?
What kind of accessories do you use?
In the “old” house, I wasn’t very particular—a single rail from wall to wall held six toilet paper rolls. Now, the walls don’t allow that, and I want everything to match—also to look elegant—and of course, be easy to maintain 😎

Best regards,
Yvonne

P.S. “Inserting graphics” probably isn’t possible here anymore????

Hello,

we are currently in the process of choosing bathroom accessories and came across products from "niewiederbohren." I like their look quite a bit, so I think we will order some and give them a try.

Best regards

Hello Julia, thanks 🙂

Keuco Smart is really a bargain – it’s a pity you’re already thinking about replacing it.

I’ve seen "never drill again" systems at Obi… I also like those quite a bit. But we have few tiles, so drilling directly into the wall is possible.

After 30 minutes of browsing, I stopped at Zack fresco – I’m not sure yet if that’s what we’ll go with… there’s so much to choose from!

Best regards, Yvonne

Yep: towel holder, towel bar, and spare paper holder from Zack Fresco, and wall-mounted brush from Zack Xero have just been chosen. For the guest toilet, that is. (I remembered a few euros we received as Christmas gifts 🙂 )
An old Elch mirror will do the job there...
For our private bathroom, I’m taking more time 🙄

I would be interested to know what it finally turned out like.

Toilet paper roll on the windowsill, a plastic toilet brush for the meantime, and a few ceramic pieces from Budny or Tchibo.

Our large bathroom mirror isn’t even hung up yet 🙁 🙁 🙁 instead, we’ve been tinkering around in the garden...
