Hello everyone,
Next year we are building a single-family house according to the 2016 energy saving ordinance, using 36.5 cm (14 inches) Poroton T9 blocks and a geothermal heat pump with underfloor heating.
In the basement, which is embedded 20 cm (8 inches) into the ground, we are currently considering whether to use 36.5 cm (14 inches) Poroton blocks as well or 30 cm (12 inches) Poroton blocks with an additional 6 cm (2.4 inches) of extruded polystyrene insulation.
Could you please share your experiences or opinions on this?
Thank you in advance.
