Hello everyone,
I am interested in a decentralized basement ventilation system.
In the basement (with light wells everywhere), I have 5 rooms with a total area of about 90m² (970 sq ft). The hallway is not included in this measurement.
Unfortunately, one room cannot be accessed from the outside, and a core drilling is not possible there. Is it possible to use devices that serve multiple rooms in the basement, or does each room require its own core drilling and device? Are there such solutions available on the market? My research has only found basement solutions but no multi-room systems.
I would appreciate any answers and thank you in advance!
Good luck

I’m not aware of that option – otherwise I would have chosen it for my apartment as well. But the conclusion was: one unit per room.

Alternatively, the room where core drilling is not possible can be connected using a ventilation duct from a room where core drilling is feasible.
Install the duct in the corner near the ceiling; it can be covered later with drywall. However, I would skip this in the basement unless it is a living area.
