Since a basement is planned for the proposed bungalow but everything is still in the consideration phase, I’m asking here. The interior staircase should be accessible through a door, functional, and cost-effective. Are prefabricated staircase components still available for purchase? Acquaintances only installed an exterior staircase, which I find a bit too minimal.

Why shouldn’t prefabricated stair components be available for purchase? You can simply use the same ones that are installed outdoors or have them delivered prefabricated accordingly. Where should the problem be?

Of course, you can also cast something like this on site or have it constructed by a metalworker or carpenter.

The cheapest option is certainly to use a simple ladder.

I find it quite interesting that your acquaintances only have an outdoor staircase when they need to go to the basement in freezing temperatures or in snow and ice. How can anyone come up with that idea?

All in all, your architect can provide you with more information on this.
